We were tasked with developing a tourism campaign for the town of Breckenridge that highlighted what makes the place so darn magnetic.

To do that, we placed chalkboards all over Breckenridge with the line "I LOVE BRECK BECAUSE ______" printed on them. Then, we took the real answers people wrote on the chalkboards and put them in our ads, along with images we sourced from social media. The locals fell in love with the idea. The boards filled up daily with new reasons why people love Breck. When I went to Breckenridge and saw the chalkboards for myself, I didn't see a single doodled dong. I think that says something.

This work won Best Tourism Campaign at the Colorado Governor's conference. It was also the best performing campaign in the client's history. #breckbecause is still in use today.
